When did you realize that you wanted to become a writer? What was the very first thing you ever wrote?
I think I’ve always been a writer, in high school I would write a lot of fan fiction with friends, short stories etc. But I only realized recently that I wanted writing to be my profession after I had to write and illustrate a children’s book for a class project I was doing. After I did that I loved it so much that it haunted me, as a result I decided to try to so more writing some more and now I’m not stopping.

Do you read reviews of your books? What do you do when you read a not-so-nice one?
Yes I do read reviews of my books and I take the bad ones with stride. But I always try to look for constructive criticism so that I can improve my writing in order to please the fans.

How did you come up with the idea of Nika?
For this book title it was simple enough as I used the name of the main character. For Seychatka two I’m playing around with some titles that I want to be original and still encompass the entire book. I will let you know how that turns out.

What's the one piece of technology you can't live without?
My Phone I feel handicapped without it.

Do you find it hard to kill off your characters?
Sometimes I find it hard to kill off some of the characters because it hurts the others. But it helps to evolve the other charters so I have to do it.

Describe yourself in 3 words.
Creative, determined and organized.

What do you normally like to read when not writing?
I read a lot of Fantasy, paranormal and romance.

Carnival would be my favorite as both the islands of Trinidad and Tobago shuts down for one big party.

What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on Seychatka two as well as another contemporary short story that may or may not turn into a book.
