This was a very personal book to me.While I enjoyed it a lot, it was also hard at times to read. I watched someone in my life go through an abusive relationship and be stalked and threatened to death, so I really felt the emotions as Rae was going through them.

I think the author did an amazing job in capturing the emotions of everyone involved. Rae is so broken after all she has been through, and I loved watching her grow and try to find a new mindset. Not every man is going to be like the jerk of your past.

And Parker, man do I love him. Even though he is not perfect he tries so hard to be a better person for Rae, but is it enough? Will she ever heal from the past?

This story was very well written and an exciting roller coaster of emotions. Great sub characters to keep the story going. I loved every minute of it, even when I found it hard and had to walk away, I was not gone long, as I needed to know what happened next.
