Livie has always been the stable one of the two Cleary sisters, handling her parents' tragic death and Kacey's self-destructive phase with strength and maturity. But underneath that exterior is a little girl hanging onto the last words her father ever spoke to her. “Make me proud,” he had said. She promised she would...and she’s done her best over the past seven years with every choice, with every word, with every action.

Livie walks into Princeton with a solid plan, and she’s dead set on delivering on it: Rock her classes, set herself up for medical school, and meet a good, respectable guy that she’s going to someday marry. What isn’t part of her plan are Jell-O shots, a lovable, party animal roommate she can’t say ‘no’ to, and Ashton, the gorgeous captain of the men’s rowing team. Definitely him. He’s an arrogant ass who makes Livie’s usually non-existent temper flare and everything she doesn’t want in a guy. Worse, he’s best friends and roommates with Connor, who happens to fits Livie’s criteria perfectly. So why does she keep thinking about Ashton?

As Livie finds herself facing mediocre grades, career aspirations she no longer thinks she can handle, and feelings for Ashton that she shouldn’t have, she’s forced to let go of her last promise to her father and, with it, the only identity that she knows.

One Tiny Lie is the sequel to "Ten Tiny Breaths" and this sequel is about the Kacey's little sister Livie. I liked Livie's character in "Ten Tiny Breaths" but I enjoyed her character even more in this sequel. She really broke out of her shy shell and really showed us what she's all about. In this sequel she goes to college and not only does she get her education on but she also falls in love. And she makes us fall in love too.

In One Tiny Lie, the author introduces you to a few characters. These characters brought so much to this book. You meet Reagan, her roomie in college. Now every one should have a roommate like her. She made me laughs so many times. With a roommate like her, your college experience will never be dull. I would really love to read a book about her. That's how interesting I found her character.

Then of course you meet the loves interests. They're both very interesting. But of course one is the good one, the one your parents want for you. Then you have the bad one, the one that excites you to no end. Which is the one your parents warned you about. And of course it always comes down to who wins? The heart or the mind? And almost 100% of the time the heart wins. And that's where Livie gets in trouble. She's dating Connor but can't stay away from Ashton. The chemistry between Ashton and her is real. I have had an Ashton in my life and it's intoxicating.

I really enjoy the banter, the chemistry between Ashton and Livie. It's almost like an addiction, that no matter how hard she tried to resist, she couldn't. Connor didn't do it for Livie and he certainly didn't do it for me either. Ms. Tucker also gave us some time with Kacey. Who happens to be hilarious! I love her and her sarcastic ways. She's come a long way from her book. It was nice to see how well she's recovered. Then you have Dr. Stayner whose unorthodox ways made his page time interesting. He's one doctor that I actually like. His unethical behavior is funny yet comforting. He played his position well and really helped Livie.

"One Tiny Lie" was an enjoyable read. I'm glad that Livie got her own book and that she didn't make her a goody two shoes. She broke out of her shell in this book and I loved it. The only thing I have to say about this book is that, in comparison to the first, it didnt' have that huge climax like "Ten Tiny Breaths" did. "Ten Tiny Breaths" was much more raw for me. But I still loved "One Tiny Lie". I really love Livie's character. I like her personality and her relationships with all characters.

I give One Tiny Lie 4 stars and it's definite a Good Choice for Reading!
