Choose Maria's 100th Book Review!

Hey GoodChoiceReading Followers!!

On August 5th, 2010, I published my very first review for GoodChoiceReading. It was for a book called The Queen's Daughter - which I really enjoyed, and which started me on this weird path down book-reviewing/blogger-hood, lol.

Since that fateful day, in two short years, I have written a total of 99 reviews! Now, that's not to say I've only read 99 books (Lord knows, there have been many a novel that had to be shut half-way through, or whos review was put up by another GCR blogger), but I am ready now to write my 100th review for GCR :)

And being that it's such a special occasion for me (I'm sure the other GCR girls have already surpassed this milestone!), I would love for you, our loyal and amazing GCR followers, to....

That's right! I will go sight unseen into a randomly-selected book chosen by YOU! (Please, don't make me read something bad! LOL)

And, as one good turn deserves another, if your suggestion is the randomly selected book, I will send you a copy of a book that I think you should be reading! Sound fair?

So, leave a comment with the title and author of a book that you think I should read! Good Luck and THANK YOU!!!

  1. The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze or Wrecked by Anna Davies

Why? Because they are the next two on my pile ;)

  2. How about Swipe by Evan Angler or Wizard by Paula Paul. Read both of those & they were really good.

  3. I've been in a steampunk mood lately and read The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross and Soulless
by Gail Carriger. I really loved both of them.

  4. Under The Blood Red Moon by Mina Hepson this is an awesome vampire books, that is very different then the typical vampires. Not a mainstream book, but it deserves it. I read it a few years ago and would love to reread it one day. There is only the 1 book, not part of a series.

  5. That's a wonderful milestone to reach! I've found many books from reviews and even if I have read a book I like to read other reviews just to see another's person thoughts on it. I am recommending Night Road by Kristin Hannah (women's fiction), The Things We Do for Love by Kristin Hannah or Chosenby Denise Frover Swank (contemporary with some paranormal).

    Happy Reading!

  6. Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh coming out May 29.12

  7. How about a Canadian read? Kenneth Oppel's This Dark Endeavor came out in paperback recently, and it's about Frankenstein :D

  8. I am not sure what you have already read but I really like A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young or Angelfall by Susuan Ee. Or if you wanted something out of YA, how about How to Kill a Rock Star by Tiffanie DeBartolo? Congrats on your 100th review in advance! :)

  9. How about Moon Over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool? It's a recent Newbery, if I recall correctly, but it's also a fantastic book by its own virtue.

It dabbles into newspaper columns and letters throughout the story, along with sprouting a diverse yet distinct cast among two different timelines.

  10. "On the island'" by Tracey Garvis Graves! Amazing amazing book! I absolutely love that story.

  11. Ashfall by Mike Mullin. Realistic, supervolcano and a roller coaster of emotions. You don't want to miss this.

  12. Walk of the Spirits by Richie Tankersley Cusick!

  13. Dragonswood by Janet Lee Carey or Unraveling by Elizabeth Norris. I loved both of these books in a big way and I think they should be talked about more than they are. I hope that the book you pick for your 100th Awesome review is a book that you instantly fall in love with and one that you will always remember! Good luck!!

  14. Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater One of the best books I've read. So hard to choose just one :)

  15. Two books that gripped me and pulled on my heart strings during the past 2 years (I've chosen a time period to coincide with your blog):

"The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green
"If I Stay" by Gayle Foreman

    Happy reading! x

  16. Hmmmm, Underworld by Meg Cabot :D

    Thanks and congrats!

    Alyssa Susanna

  17. How about The Crown of Embers (sequel to Girl of Fire and Thorns)? Loved the 1st book and really looking forward to it when it comes out!

If you haven't read The Girl of Fire and Thorns, then how about The Selection? Supposed to be a fun read with some Hunger Games elements.

  18. Definitely Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. (Regency romance) I read it, sighed, and read it again:)

  19. Hi Maria,
i am not sure what type of books you prefer to read so i am going to give you some options on books that i personally thought were awesome and should be reviewed.

2)My Wicked Enemy by Carolyn Jewel (book 1 in My Immortal series, 4 books out now with more to come)

3)Covert Mission: Undercover Cop is book 2 in the Thunder Creek Ranch series (book1 Zakia and the Cowboy was good too)

4)Also any book by Sable Hunter is above awesome!

5)Bound a Faery tale by Sophie Oak is great and book1 of a series followed by Beast and more coming soon.

6)Last but certainly not least Anything written by Stacey Espino or Delilah Devlin (erotic romance) is always a fantastic read.
