Thanks to all your fantastic comments, I've already learned that GCReaders love books turned into movies. You all like seeing your favorite characters on screen, and for the most part, feel like the film industry is doing a fairly decent job.

So - my question to you all this Thursday is this: What book would you turn into a movie right now? And what actors/actresses would you want your favorite characters played by?

  1. Ah! Um, Nightshade by Andrea Cremer, Divergent by Veronica Roth (Which was already picked up) Almost Human series by Melanie Nowak lol

As far as cast... hahah either Matt Lanter or Ian Sommerholder (spelled that wrong, I just know it) for any of leading guys hahaha

  2. Wow there are so many books that I would love to turn into a movie. White Cat by Holly Black, almost all books by Charles de Lint and I'm reading Forest of Hands and Teeth right now, which I can visualize in my head. Not sure what actors though off the top of my head.

  3. Midnyte Reader, I am dying to read Forest of Hands and Teeth. I heard really good things about that book.

  4. Oooh, this is a tough question since so many of my favorite books have already been turned into movies. However, I would love to see a movie version of Gregory Maguire's Wicked! After reading the novel, and seeing the Broadway show, I would love to see it in movie format too! As for cast, I think the original Broadways cast members should reprise their roles; Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth!
