Author Bucket List

As you all know, Damaris and I went to our first book signing last wednesday. It was such a fun experience, being able to tell an author in person how much we liked their book. Sitting there that day, I got to thinking. I should write down all the authors I would like to meet, and as I meet them(hopefully) cross them off the list. So here is my author bucket list in random order, excluding the ones I met wednesday:

1. Lauren Oliver

2. Angela Morrison

3. Stephanie Perkins

4. Simone Elkeles

5. Becca Fitzpatrick

6. Claudia Gray

7. Kristi Cook

8. Jennifer Laurens

9. Nicholas Sparks

10. Stephenie Meyer

***Please feel free to leave a comment giving us your own list as well!***

  5. This is a great idea. You should make it a meme or send it to Crazy-For-Books as a question for the Book Blogger Hop!

    My list is:
    Charles De Lint
    Stephen King
    Holly Black
    Robert McCammon
    Patricia McKillip
    (Too many others to list!)

  6. Great list! It seems like no authors ever come near where I live, which makes me sad =( But I too would love to meet Stephenie Meyer and Lauren Oliver. #1 on my list would have to be JK Rowling though! Followed closely by Sarah Dessen and Suzanne Collins, and then there's Scott Westerfeld, Rick Riordan, Maggie Stiefvater, Julie Kagawa, Rachel Hawkins...so many!

  8. ooo what a great idea! I ALMOST met Lauren Oliver last week but she was stuck in Chicago and didn't make it to Houston. I'd definitely want to meet Stephenie Meyer, JK Rowling, Suzanne Collins, Becca Fitzpatrick, Rick Riordan, Scott Westerfeld, Rachel Hawkins (I'm meeting her in a couple weeks!), Beth Revis, Kiersten White, Carrie Ryan... wow my list is much longer... but those are the highlights!
