Review: House of Immortal Pleasure By Katie Salidas

Adult Romance- Ages 18+

Explore the sensual side of the vampire world at the House of Immortal Pleasures.Blindfolded and kidnapped, Daphne is whisked away to the famed, House of Immortal Pleasures, a Vampire-run Brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. Sometimes the only way to mend a broken heart is to get back in the saddle. At least that is how Daphne’s friends see it. And since Daphne isn’t showing any signs of letting that happen, they take it into their own hands. With a few shots of liquid courage, a pat on the ass, and a donated gold card, Daphne is unwillingly sent into fantasy room 123 to meet her creature of the night, Connor. It’s Connor’s job to seduce and entice Daphne to try all the expensive, sexual services on the menu. And he is prepared to do just that, until he peers into her mind and sees the damage done by her broken heart. After learning of her past pain, Connor’s plans change. No more is this a game of seduction to pad the pockets of the brothel owner. Connor decides to lavish Daphne with real attention and affection. Something she desperately needs. He will heal her heart the only way he can, by showing her she is beautiful, desirable, and sexy.

My Thoughts:

Katie contacted our other blog "Sinfully Tasty Reads" and requested if we would like to review her book "House of Immortal Pleasures". She sent us a description of the book and I have to say I immediately told her "Yes". Now I have stated in other posts I am not a "paranormal" fan but I can get lured into a good story. And I did. And must admit that book was so juicy and sexy, wow. I wouldn't mind having me a "Connor" and a "Tongue Lashing" to go with it. Had my friends kidnapped me and taken me to a place like that I'd probably be super pissed but definitely intrigued. You can have your every desire and every fantasy fulfilled in "House of Immortal Pleasures". And with a super sexy vampire such as Connor, Whoa! To say NO would be insane! But Daphne was dragged to the "House of Immortal Pleasures". She wasn't happy about being kidnapped and taken to a place like that. Things changed when she got there. She was depressed and broken hearted and came out extremely satisfied and happy. But what made her change her mind and feeling good, well you have to read it to find out. But I can say one thing! I would have LOVED to be in Daphne's place at that time. LOL. My only complaint would be that it was a short story, rather than a long book. I would have loved to read more of "Connor" and "Daphne". I get into my characters so I love to read more about them. This book is a Definite Must Read and a "Good Choice for Reading" or as in our other blog a "Sinfully Tasty Read". 5 out of 5 stars!
