Review: Shade by Jeri Smith Ready

GoodReads - When her boyfriend dies a most untimely death, Aura--who can see ghosts--is forced to reconsider her relationship with the living and dead in SHADE.

WOW... this was such a good book I don't even know what to say about it besides that I loved it! The way Logan and Aura love each other is just beautiful! I cried at almost every scene with Aura and Logan... Some were good tears and some were sad tears. I love when a book can touch me and this book did just that.

I loved how Jeri Smith Ready made Aura and Logan's world seem so real. You have your everyday teen issues in it from sex, drugs, alcohol, music etc. Minus the whole seeing the dead bit of course.

This book was written so well and everything just fell right into place. Every chapter something was happening and leaving you wanting more. There was never a boring moment in this book.

If you're looking for a book with a strong love story in it I definitely recommend this book. Just thinking about certain parts in the book right now makes me want to cry lol. THIS IS A MUST READ!!!

SUCH A GOOD BOOK! :-) Worth re-reading two or three times.
I am stopping here before I give away anything in the book. IF YOU HAVEN'T PICKED IT UP YET THEN GO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? lol

  3. I love your review, Dee!!! It's so heartfelt and true. I, too, adored the book for all the reasons you mentioned -- including how very believable the entire plot was...even with the "seeing ghosts bit".
