Interview
I have to admit that I usually do. I’ve written so many books now that bad reviews don’t really bother me anymore and when they’re critical bad reviews I appreciate them because that’s something I can grow from.
2. If you could switch places with any of your characters, who would it be? Why?
I’d have to say Emma from Last To Know. We’re sort of similar (quiet bookworms) but I mean…she’s with Maddox Wade and who wouldn’t want to be the girl with him. Ha!
3. Describe your main character in six words.
Grace: fierce, intelligent, surprising, sassy, girly-girl, loving Bennett: athletic, sarcastic, funny, daring, sexy, dirty
4. What's your favorite thing to do when you're not writing?
Read. Haha. I’m not a big TV watcher but lately Netflix is taking over my life. I think I like being able to binge watch something since I’m not very patient and don’t usually stick with shows. My current obsession is Dexter.
5. If you could meet anyone and spend an hour with them alive or dead who and why?
J.K. Rowling—because she is THE Queen of writing in my opinion. Harry Potter is one of my favorite series and she’s on my bucket list of authors to meet. I’d love to pick her brain for an hour and see what else she has in there.
6. What scene was your favorite to write?
Hmm, I have several but I really like the scene where Grace and Bennett go to Boston and spend the night at his apartment. I feel like that’s a turning point in the book for them beginning to realize they have feelings for each other.
7. What scene was the hardest for you to write?
I think everyone will know once they read the book. ;)
8. If there is one genre that you have not written in yet, but would love to try writing a book in that specific genre, what would it be?
Mystery or historical.
9. What's the one piece of technology you can't live without?
My laptop. If something would happen to it I’d be beside myself.
10. What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on When Stars Collide which is a spin-off from Rae of Sunshine.
