About the Author

Obscured  was C. M.'s debut novel. What began as a way to spend her free time slowly transitioned into a passion for writing. She's currently working on releasing her second novel, Divulge. The best is yet to come!
 C. M. is a mother of three. She grew up in the sunshine state of Arizona with a love of reading and an ambition to write. But never took her writing seriously until after the birth of her first child. After that she took up writing more seriously in her spare time and hasn't stopped since.

Interview

1. Tell us a little about yourself and your latest/upcoming release.
I'm 29 years old. I have lived in Arizona since I was 2. Love it here and probably will never move out of state.  My latest release, Divulge, is the second in the series about a girl thrust into a whole new strange world. It is a young adult sci-fi/paranormal read that has bits of romance and suspense mixed in.

2. When did you realize that you wanted to become a writer? What was the very first thing you ever wrote?
Hmm... Well when I was little I used to staple pages together and write little 'books.'  But then as I got older and did horribly in English I said to myself that I'd never be any good at writing so I gave up. When my son was born, I had extra time on my hands during naptime so I began to write. That writing became Obscured. I never set out to become an author, yet years later when I finished Obscured I decided to publish and the rest is history!

3. Do you read reviews of your books? What do you do when you read a not-so-nice one?
Haha, I like this question. I do read my reviews, sometimes a little bit too much. I love to know what people think of my writing, it's what keeps me writing. I am happy to say that I can't say that I have actually gotten a not so nice review yet. The worst was probably someone who put a 1 star rating but never said why. Obviously, no one likes to hear bad things about what they write BUT I feel that it is a part of this business and there will be people who like what I write and people who don't, everyone's taste is different!

4. Do you have a book in your house that's just destroyed because you've read it so much?
Surprisingly no! I am not really one to re-read books. There are just soo many stories out there to discover that I don't want to waste time reading the same one again.

5. Who designed your cover?
The cover of Divulge was designed by Gabrielle of Eger Designs.

6. What is your favorite holiday?
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love everything about it. It just feels magical.

7. What are you working on now?
I am currently working on Book three!
