*new adult romance*

Junior in college. Star athlete. Constant attention from the opposite sex.

On this campus, I’m worshiped. While seven hundred miles away, back in my hometown, I’m still trailer park trash, child of the town tramp, and older sibling to three kids who are counting on me to keep my shit together so I can take them away from the same crappy life I grew up in.

These two opposing sides of myself never mix until one person gets a glimpse of the true me. I never expected to connect with anyone like this or want more beyond one night. This may be the real deal.

Problem is, Dr. Kavanagh’s my literature professor.

If I start anything with a teacher and we’re caught together, I might as well kiss my entire future goodbye, as well as my family’s, and especially Dr. Kavanagh’s. Except sometimes love is worth risking everything. Or at least, it damn well better be because I can only resist so much.

GCREADERS!!! This book right here… *sigh*

I am so in love with Noel! It’s been a long time that a male main character actually made me swoon. I read so much romance – especially New Adult, that it all sort of just bleeds the same. When I picked this book up I had no idea what to expect. I follow another blogger (Aestas Book Blog) on Facebook and she actually recommended it. I saw the cover, read the blurb and thought Sure! This sounds like my kind of read. Well, it sure was and more.

It was almost as if the story was flipped. Instead of the female being the student and from the wrong side of tracks, it was the male. I really liked this. I also love how emotional Noel is throughout the entire story. He fell for Aspen, and fell hard. It was one of those love stories that every female dreams about. Don't lie… you know you want your very own Noah Calhoun. LOL! I know, wrong story.

Anyway, this is one story that I highly recommend. It flows so smoothly and everything happens at the right time. It’s not dragged out, nor does it move too fast. It’s just right! My nerves were all over the place, though. So prepare yourself. With every new chapter my heart beat faster. I kept saying this is it. This is the chapter they get caught. LOL! But of course that is the main thing that has me so in love with this story. The whole “forbidden love” situation Aspen and Noel find themselves in.

I did have a slight issue with the near end. Aspen makes a decision, and then sort of turns into a chicken. I won’t explain too much, but I thought it was a bit pointless. I am happy-- super happy with the ending though.

You have to buy this book!
