You met and fell in love with Maggie and Seth as they struggled to survive a couple of ruthless drug dealers and Maggie's incorrigible mom in UNLOVABLE
Booker Gatto is done. Done with women, his old life, all of it. Only the love of his friends in Port Fare keeps him going as he leaves the MET in exchange for the quiet
life his new law practice will provide.
Tess Selleck, once as ambitious and determined as she is smart and beautiful, had to leave everything and everyone she loves in San Diego to escape the man who destroyed her dreams and now wants her dead.
Together Booker and Tess find love when they least expect it, until their pasts drive
them apart. Is there a happily ever after for these damaged lovers? Or is the thought of loving and trusting again simply Unbearable?
Unbearable is the exciting conclusion to the Port Fare Series. Join Booker as he struggles to find his happily ever after.

As always Sherry doesn't disappoint. I have been waiting for Booker's story since her first book "Unlovable". I met Booker in Unlovable and fell in love with him then. And throughout the series, I just kept falling deeper and deeper in love with him. He's has all the qualities I want in a man. He's a hard worker, caring, loving and sensitive.
In Unbearable you will see Booker getting his life together after he quit's MET. He's working in his office and has quite a few clients. He's doing great. But now he's developed a crush on his secretary/office manager Tess. Tess use to work with Cole in the medial field but she's not meant for that. She passes out at the sight of blood. So she's working with Booker now.
Their chemistry is good. It's not sizzling hot but only because Booker has to approach Tess with delicateness because of her past. They had a more mature approach on taking the next step. The horror she goes through with her ex-husband will make you literally cry and want to punch him. In fact, this book dabbles a lot with a very sensitive subject, rape and domestic violence. So I don't recommend this book to anyone who is sensitive to those subjects.
But aside from the horrible rape and domestic violence, I like the way Sherry approached the romance between Booker and Tess. Usually in a lot of today's books, they take sex lightly. Everyone is falling in love by the second chapter and having sex by the third. But in Unbearable, everything is even paced. Booker tries and comfort Tess and shows her how he's not her horrible ex-husband. That he cares and loves her and he'll wait.
A lot goes on in this book that'll have you shaking your head like "Wow". But thank goodness they have their friends there. Seth and Maggie from Unlovable and Cole and Lilah from Unbelievable. With those friends, you'll never go through life's ups and downs alone. I love that you get to read about how their lives is going as well.
I absolutely LOVED this book. But I have been waiting for this book for about two years so I knew I would. Besides Sherry is such a good writer, I knew she was going to knock it out the park. I think Booker is her baby but she's not going to confess to that. I give Unbearable a 5 stars and a DEFINITE Good Choice for Reading.
Check out her entire series.
