Twenty-year-old Maddie has had a crush on Colin, her studly internship supervisor, for three long months. She struggles focusing on her work, and always finds herself gazing at his wavy brown hair, his chiseled cheekbones, his kissable lips. Little does she know, however, that he has feelings for her, too.

The problem is no matter how much time they spend together in the office, neither one can ever make the first move.

That is, until they both step into the old, rickety elevator late one Friday night.

And things start to get a little steamy...

**Mature Situations and Sexual Content - Recommended for Ages 17+**

Maddie is working as an intern at a casting firm in California. She has one crush, and only two days left to do something about it. Colin is Maddie's boss, Colin is also the object of Maddie's infatuated fantasies. Can getting stuck in an elevator with her dream guy really be all that bad?

Maddie is a sweet girl. She's going to college and she's doing intern work for experience and she has a severe crush on her boss. She's being pushed by her roommate to go after the guy. She isn't comfortable asking a guy out, but she only has two more days to take action. Colin has feelings for Maddie, but he is undecided, I guess you could say. He is fighting these feelings because he is stuck in the past.

I had a hard time connecting with Maddie, and Colin for that matter. Yes, she's nice, but she's kind of a wuss. You have seriously been crushing on this guy for 14 weeks, and you haven't even had a descent conversation with him? Colin too, although I do understand his reluctance, he lost someone he loved deeply. I also didn't get the love factor. I get being attracted to someone, I'm sure we all do, but I have a hard time dealing with lust immediately jumping to love in any story. Yes, they have been working together for over three months, but other than Colin giving work, and Maddie doing the work, they have almost no interaction. The story wasn't believable to me.

That being said, I didn't much care for this book. I couldn't connect with the character's, and the story line, and the situation was just too far from reality for me. It wasn't insta-love, but it was love without a back bone, which may as well be the same thing. I'm not even sure if this is a stand alone, or if there will be a sequel. It just wasn't for me.
