Favorite Romantic Suspense Series
Readers are constantly asking me what I like to read. So, in
honor of my recent Martin Family release, Shadow
of Sin, this top-ten is dedicated to other series I love that share the
romantic suspense genre. Here you go, lovely readers, a sample of what I read.
And these are in no particular order.
1. The MacKenzie
Family – Liliana Hart
This series begins with four
novellas, allowing the reader to quickly get to know this hunky family. Liliana
is a self-professed “fast writer,” so the reader doesn’t have to wait long for
the next installments of this awesome series.
2. T-FLAC – Cherry
Adair
Even though the reading order can
be kind of confusing (it’s probably just me), Cherry Adair makes it worth figuring
out with her uber-alpha males and action packed stories. Plus, her website
totally rocks with interactive areas and cool suspense music.
3. KGI – Maya Banks
Maya Banks is one of my favorite
authors – hell, I’d pre-order KGI installments that haven’t even been written
yet (In fact, I think I have!). A family of sexy military men, written by Maya
Banks? Oh yeah. Sign me up.
4. Elite Ops – Lora
Leigh
It’s pretty much a given that I’ll
read anything that Lora Leigh writes – and she’s written a lot! Paranormal,
contemporary, romantic suspense – I’m not sure there’s a romance genre Ms.
Leigh hasn’t touched. As for this series … sexy operatives, hot sex, die-hard
romance. ‘Nuff said.
5. Navy SEALs – Lora
Leigh
Uh, see above. :)
6. McClouds &
Friends – Shannon McKenna
I’m relatively new to Shannon
McKenna’s work, but this series definitely deserves to be on my list. These
stories are action-packed and completely satisfying.
7. One-Eyes Jacks – Cindy Gerard
With just two in this particular series
so far, it wouldn’t take long to catch up. Gerard is a master at weaving a plot
with tension and emotion. Always an enjoyable ride.
8. Darkest Sin –
Mandy Harbin
Although this is the only book in
the series thus far, it’s a great start! This series is set to follow the lives
of mercenaries who front as mechanics in rural Arkansas. Darkest Sin has
action, intrigue, romance and hot sex – what more could a reader want?! Besides
the next book, that is. (wink, wink)
9. Black Knights Inc.
– Julie Ann Walker
Mix hot, alpha men, motorcycles,
and a heavy dose of oh shit and
voila! Romantic suspense magic. You won’t want to miss this!
10. The Martin Family
– Parker Kincade
