Jennie Townsend is unlucky in love, and the cute, kind-hearted 17-year-old has all but sworn off boys in her last year of high school. That’s before a mysterious teen named Nate enters her life. Tall, muscular and handsome, he is new to Palm Springs High, and for some reason he is intent on becoming Jennie’s friend. Jennie’s past experience with boys makes her wary, but something about Nate allows her to trust him, and soon she finds her feelings for this boy growing stronger than either of them intended.
There is something special about Nate, something Jennie can’t even begin to imagine. He is a Guardian Angel, a Protector, sent to watch over her and… ultimately to save her life. To complete his mission, he must first become close to her – but not too close.
The rules for Protectors warn against physical contact and strictly forbid falling in love. But the more time Nate spends with Jennie, the harder the rules become to follow. Will Nate be able to save Jennie from a premature end, or will his own emotions – and Jennie’s – get in the way of completing the task for which he was specially chosen?

The cover is really pretty. The book sounds good, but it sounds a little familiar too. Or am I crazy? I just don't think I am crazy. Well, not too much anyway. I really do like the over though, and I think I would read Unbreakable given the chance. Thanks for the reveal!
