TEMPT ME
She’s a temptation he can’t resist…

Roxanne ‘Rocki’ Monroe’s life is full of secrets and hidden heartaches. Cole Stanton would love to heal her pain and chase away the ghosts of her past, but she’s just a complication he doesn’t have room for in his life.

Or so he thinks.

It doesn’t take Cole long to realize he’s more than willing to let temptation get the best of him, more than happy to deal with complications if that’s what it takes to get her.

What he has and what he needs are two different things…and what he needs is Rocki.

BEG ME
Beg me…there had been a time when those words made her burn with desire. But now, there was only fear.

Once, Tania Sinclair’s life was almost perfect…But a couple of tragedies later, she’s barely holding it together. A car accident took away her husband, and an attack from somebody she should have been able to trust has shaken not only her confidence, but it’s also stripped away her fantasies and even made it painful to look back on her memories of her husband without fear.

Two years after her attack, Tania is determined to take her life back and the first step is taking back herself…her fantasies, her dreams, her memories. There’s only one person she can trust to do it, too. One person she wants enough…Drake Bennett, her husband’s best friend.

Warning: This book involves light bondage play, rape fantasy & role-playing. The acts between the hero & heroine are consensual, but they may not be ideal for all readers…

I really liked this book. Two short stories put into one print copy. Now while both were good stories one I did like better.

Tempt Me was a really cute story of a girl who has lost and is afraid to love again. I really liked Rocki; she is a strong woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go get it. She is not your typical tiny sexy thing, in fact she is a real curvy woman, and I like that she knows who and what she is. She is not afraid of her sensuality and tries to make other woman feel beautiful with her designs of lingerie.

I really liked Cole too the male lead, he is sexy and powerful and once he meets Rocki his world is turned upside down. But it is a case of wrong place wrong time in the beginning. All that changes when he attends a charity event that Rocki holds. No longer can Cole deny what he wants. And when Rocki’s past comes back to hurt her Cole is the one person there to save her from it all.

The only thing I did not like about this story was it ended to fast, I was just waiting for a bit more and really did not think the book was over when I got to the last page.

Now Beg Me was the better of the two by far. An emotional story of a woman who is raped by her husband’s twin a year after her husband’s death. She has so many emotional scars to deal with after that night and two years later it is still so hard.

I loved how Tania learned to be strong and take back her life after such a tragic event. Tania uses Drake her late husband’s best friend to take back control of her life.

Together Drake and Tania learn how to heal her wounds and slowly fall in love even if neither are willing to admit it, but when the past comes back to haunt them and tales of deceit come forward can Tania really keep control? Can she ever really trust again?

Like I said both were good stories but Beg Me was much more intense and emotional.
Both stories are emotional, gut wrenching story of lies, guilt, emotional pain, and deceit. Both woman strong and determined to move forward and lock thier skeletons in the closet forever.

3.5 out of 5 stars
