I cannot, and I repeat, CANNOT come up with the right words to say how flipping amazing this book is. I finished reading it and was left in a deep depression because it was over. I want to memorize word for word! Yes, this is how much I loved it. This is the one book that I would love to see on the big screen and get as much hype as possible. It deserves it!
It's a dark unique dystopian story where Darklings and Humans are trying to coexist. It has a HUGE forbidden love that later on in the story reveals a great twist and leaves you with your mouth hanging open. It's unpredictable, and will definitely keep you at the edge of your seat. The characters are so well written. Richards has created a world full of strong characters that you will easily fall in love with and wish you were them. The world building is perfect in every way. It's raw and Richards does not hold back. I am in love with this book and want to marry it!
Since I cannot break down part for part of the book like I want to, I decided I will just share a quick report card on it.

You will love it! There is nothing NOT to like about Black City! Those who love Paranormal Romance (YA & Adult)… this is for sure a DEFINITE read for you!

ReplyDeleteI enjoy dystopians that have romance incorporated deeply into the struggles that occur in the plot. Black City seems like one of them.
