Wow... can you believe half the year is already gone? We only have six months left of 2012 and boy is time flying!
Today I want to share with everyone some of my favorite books of 2012 so far. You will find books on this list that I've rated 4 to 5 stars. This is a list of all Young Adult titles.

Oh, wow. I've read SO many awesome books this year! So far some of my favorites have been: The Fault in Our Stars and Something Like Normal, for books released in 2012, and non-2012 books include: Flat-Out Love, Shine, Ashfall, and Graceling. :)

ReplyDeleteThe 2012 released books that I have fallen in love with are Insurgent by Veronica Roth, Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi, and Grave Mercy by R.L. LaFevers. There are a lot of new to me books also, Finnikin of the Rock series by Melina Marchetta, The Pledge by Kimberly Derting, Bunheads by Sophie Flack, and the Waterfall series by Lisa Bergren.

I've read a lot of great books this year - a few of my favorites were Jennifer Estep's By a Thread and Dark Frost, and Meljean Brook's Heart of Steel.

There are so, so many! My Life Next Door, Ditched: A Love Story, Divergent & Insurgent, Incarnate, Shadow and Bone, Obsidian and Kill Me Softly are some that immediately come to mind. So many good books!

ReplyDeleteNow that I'm thinking about it I have bought a lot of books that were released in 2012 but I haven't actually read any of them yet! All year I've been reading books that have been sitting around for a while. The ones I'm most looking forward to reading are Insurgent, Grave Mercy, Pure, and Pandemonium.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. The AUS version is significantly different from the US version, so I would love to have the AUS, US, and UK versions of the book.

Oh tough choice but I would have to say Before I Wake, City of Lost Souls, Grave Mercy, the Immortal Rules, Clockwork Prince, and Soul Thief. Before I Wake has jumped to the number one spot for me, I can't wait for With All My Soul to come out!

My favorite read so far this year is definitely Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick. I read it in January and I still can't get it out of my head!
