The electrifying conclusion to the epic young adult science fiction series that began with The Comet's Curse.

Council leader Triana Martell has returned from her journey through the mysterious wormhole, but she isn't alone. She is accompanies by the ambassador of an alien race - the Dollovit.

While the council and crew of Galahad struggle to come to terms with the existence of the Dollovit, the ship begins to flounder. The radiation shield threaten to fail, damaged by the appearance of multiple wormholes. The Dollovit have a proposal for the crew: an offer of assistance that could be their only hope for survival. But their offer comes with an astronomical price. Beset with doubts and surrounded by danger, can Trianna and her crew find a way to reach their destination - a new home for the human race?

I can't remember the last time a final book in a series made me so sad to see it go.

It was sad, yes, but also completely satisfying. I just grew so attached to these characters that I actually did not want to let them go. I don't even know how the author himself did it!

A long while back, I received The Dark Zone in my review pile. It is the 4th book in this series. I had never heard of it and I didn't really like the cover so I let it just sit on my shelf for a while. But when I finally picked it up, I literally did not put it down. It didn't matter that I hadn't started the journey into space with these teenagers, I had picked up right away who was good, who was bad and happily hopped in for the ride. I gave that book 4 out of 5 stars, and the subsequent book: The Cosmic Storm  received 5 out of 5.

The final book, The Galahad Legacy, will be no different. This story was just as jam packed with twists and turns as any of the others. You just never knew what the heck was going to happen.

Okay...let's backtrack a bit. In a nutshell: the story focuses on a group of teenagers shipped from Earth (where everyone's dying from disease) on a 5-year journey to the planet Eos, where they will be able to start over. In this novel, they're only in year 2 of their 5 year quest, but their ship is breaking down and an alien is "supposedly" going to help them get to Eos instantaneously.

To trust the alien or not to trust the alien? I won't tell you what happens, but I will you that as soon as it was over, I turned to my husband and said, "No....that can't be it! What happens next?!" And I realized that I had become so attached to these characters that Dom Testa could've written about them forever and I would've kept on reading.

While I'm sad that it's over (can you tell?), I'm glad I am in a position to tell you to READ THESE BOOKS!! They are amazing and fun and you will not regret it - I promise!

6 out of 5 stars!!

P.S. - There is currently a blog scavenger hunt going on with The Galahad Series. GoodChoiceReading is proud to be the Grand Finale of this hunt. Come back tomorrow and find out how you can win all six books in the series!
