Meeting with Author Rachel Hawkins + Giveaway!

Hi everyone!

On Friday, September 16th, Wanda and I visited The Voracious Reader in Larchmont, NY because author Rachel Hawkins would be there talking about her series, Hex Hall. I am huge fan and just recently Wanda read and loved Hex Hall. It's a really good series and I think everyone of all ages can read it.

Rachel talked about her home town, writing the series, her characters and what she is working on next. Afterward she signed a couple of books and took some pictures. Rachel is working on a spin off series with some new characters. I am really excited to read it. After meeting Rachel, I can honestly say that her main character Sophie, is exactly like her. She was so funny and had all of us cracking up in our seats. I am really happy we got the chance to meet her. The Voracious Reader is always having great events and what I like best about it is, the events are not rushed and you get personal time with the authors. They also have a great staff and the owner always has some kind of goodies to go along with the event. If you're ever in Larchmont or even New Rochelle, stop by The Voracious Reader. We love that bookstore!

Even though I am holding SPELL BOUND in my hands, it really was just the cover on HEX HALL. LOL I wish I had Spell Bound! lol



Wanda and I chipped in together and got a copy of Hex Hall, and a Demon Glass bag to giveaway to one lucky follower. They are both signed by Rachel Hawkins.
