THURSDAY'S QUESTION OF THE DAY

So I hate to admit it, but one of my favorite books in the world is called The Tao of Pooh. Now don't laugh - and don't judge! This book is actually really good and really inspiring and I've probably read it at least 10 times. But...it's definitely one of those books that I keep toward the corner of the bookshelf, lol.

So today's question: What book embarasses you to admit that you LOVE?

LET ME KNOW!!

  1. You shouldn't be embarrassed about that. The Tao of Pooh is an awesome book. Simple, beautiful, Zen. The Te of Piglet ain't bad either.

  2. I agree with Matthew. Everything Winnie The Pooh related is cool and therefore shouldn't embarrass you! ^^ Me, I am in love with Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne, always was and always will be, he is an awesome little bear of wisdom and simplicity :> Though people tend to look at me as if I was a bit out of my mind for my age when I tell them about it o.O

  3. Ok, so the book I am embarrassed is actually a series, and I have read at least a dozen in the series. I can't believe I'm sharing this...Ok, I love all of "The Cat Who.." series by Lillian Jackson Braun. For those who aren't familiar with the series, it is about a journalist who has 2 siamese cats, and in every book the siamese cats somehow help the main character figure out some type of mystery. In fact, the cats figure it out before their owner, lol!I first fell in love with these books in high school because I used to have 2 siamese cats of my own. I guess I always thought it would be so cool if my cats started solving mysteries.

@Jmartinez - don't be ashamed of your love for those books! Although....cats solving mysteries is a little weird, lol!
