The Summer King is missing; the Dark Court is bleeding; and a stranger walks the streets of Huntsdale, his presence signifying the deaths of powerful fey.
Aislinn tends to the Summer Court, searching for her absent king and yearning for Seth. Torn between his new queen and his old love, Keenan works from afar to strengthen his court against the coming war. Donia longs for fiery passion even as she coolly readies the Winter Court for battle. And Seth, sworn brother of the Dark King and heir to the High Queen, is about to make a mistake that could cost his life.
Love, despair, and betrayal ignite the Faery Courts, and in the final conflict, some will win . . . and some will lose everything.
The thrilling conclusion to Melissa Marr's New York Times bestselling Wicked Lovely series will leave readers breathless.
Darkest Mercy is definitely THE BEST book out the entire Wicked Lovely series! I can't even begin to tell you how good this book is!
It ended exactly the way I hoped it would. Every page had me at the edge of my seat with butterflies in my stomach. I cried a couple of times and felt for each and every character in the book. Everything fell apart and all at once came back together ten times better. All I can say is that if you haven't picked up Wicked Lovely, the first book in the series, then I recommend you do!
Melissa Marr has delivered an incredible ending to a romantic and action packed series. I love the direction she took the story and how everything meshed well together. There was no room for confusion or disappointment. The only disappointment I have is that it’s over. I can sit here and tell you how much I love this book and get into details, but it won’t do this story justice. This series is something you have to experience for yourself. And when and if you do, please come back here and tell me!! I need to talk about this book with someone who feels the same as I do LOL. I LOVED IT!
FIVE STARS!

Oh, stop. you're making me super excited for this book now! Wicked Lovely was my first fae book and loved it. great series. I am looking forward to the last book. =D
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like this book. I am so looking forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteI read Wicked Lovely and adored it, but didn't start the second book because it didn't feature the same characters from the first. Bratty, but true. Now I think I need to stop being so silly and start reading!
ReplyDeleteOMG - you're killing me to wait now!! I loved all the books in the series, but really, really want this one now.
ReplyDelete@Audra, each book is about a different character, but it all really revolves around each and every one. In the final book you understand why. They each play a different role and I think that's what Melissa Marr was trying to do. Give them each their story so when you read Darkest Mercy everything just makes sense. So I recommend you get started on that second book hahaha. :0)
ReplyDelete@Jessie, You will not be disappointed!!!
I haven't read the series yet but it's been on my TBR List for a while...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the covers in this series, though. My favorites are the first book and the fifth book.
