Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend, Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all-popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.

Sam has resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened to her that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance at being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her-even if the old Sam treated him like trash.

But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night isn't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory-someone else knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive?

Don't look back was so good. So so so good. This book is completely different to any other book Jennifer's ever written. Nothing about the writing style is of the usual Jennifer Arementrout writing that I'm use to. But I loved it and would absolutely love to read more books like this from her. It shows there's nothing she can't write. I have lost sleep because of this book. That's how good it is.

While reading the book, I kept looking for clues as to what really happened to Samantha. What caused her to get amnesia. Who was behind the death of her best friend. This book was haunting. When I finally forced myself to out it down, I dreamt about it. Everything about with the writing was so vivid. I was so drawn into the story that I literally felt like the world around me disappear and I was in Samantha's world. Going through her emotions with her.

I love the connection she had with certain character. Even though she had amnesia, she wasn't rebelling and going against everyone. She went ahead and continued her life as expected. I think what I liked most is that she didn't play victim. I also liked that she did change and changed for the better. That's something good that came out from having amnesia.

Jennifer had me suspecting every single character in this book for murder. In my eyes, her brother was a suspect, her boyfriend was a suspect, her neighbor was a suspect, her friends were a suspect. Everyone even YOU were a suspect. I can't continue to rant about how freaking amazing her writing was in this story. She played every character well. All characters and their personalities made the book for what it was. Amazing.

The anticipation and buildup was so real, I literally wanted to flip through the pages to read the outcome. But I don't like spoilers. So if you're looking for a mystery/suspense book that will keep you on your toes, then grab "Don't Look Back". If you're looking for a book with character growth, grab "Don't Look Back". If you're look for a book with a even paced romance development, grab "Don't Look Back". If you're looking for a book that will throw your through hoops till the end, grab "DON'T LOOK BACK"! Just get it. It's that good.

Need I tell you how much I love this book. This book has put Jennifer at a whole different level than she already was. As an author, she can write ANY genre! Not many authors out there can pull that off!! I give "Don't Look Back" a HUGE 5 stars and it's a definite Good (Great) Choice for Reading!!
