          I picked this book up because it was circulating through my Facebook feed a lot. So I decided to give it a chance. Now at first, I kept putting it down. It wasn't grabbing my interest. I don't know if it was the author's form of writing or was it that I wasn't connecting with the characters. But I found a bit difficult for me at first to keep reading. However, I was determined so I kept picking it up. Also it did have really good reviews. So I continued reading. After a certain percentage into the book, the characters jumped out the page. I started getting to know Kendall and Payton and started really enjoying them.

         Kendall convinces Payton to move to California to become her music tutor and go to college there. That's where the story became interesting. This turns out to be a good move for Payton. Because Payton sort of started to blossom into the person she was suppose to become. And I liked that she embraced it rather than freak out with every new experience. Despite harboring her own feelings towards Kendall, I felt she was evolving rather nicely. But since the two girls had feelings for one another, you can only imagine how that ends.

          I really enjoyed this story and its pacing Nothing was rushed. The author didn't rush into a relationship with the girls. She made coming out realistic. It wasn't rainbows and sunshine. Not everyone embrace homosexuality and it's often seen as taboo. When the time came and the girls did express their feelings for one another, it felt real. Their dilemmas felt real and the best part is she didn't drag them out for too long. I enjoyed their scenes together. I'm also happy the author gave us a HEA because that would have annoyed me if she didn't. Overall the author did a great job with the characters and their story. I give gravity between us 4 stars and a good choice for reading.
