Blog Tour Review: Vivian's List by Haleigh Lovell!

Title: Vivian's List
Author: Haleigh Lovell
Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance (Recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual content)
Published: October 4, 2013, 290 pages

Her brother's best friend. A sexual bucket list. An erotic love story.
Vivian Sorenson is in a verbally abusive relationship. When her boyfriend, Brody, calls her "frigid" and "boring ol' vanilla," Vivian finally ends the toxic relationship and embarks on a journey of sexual self-discovery.
Liam Sykes has known Vivian all his life. She's his best friend's little sister and she's always been off-limits. When he happens upon Vivian's sexual bucket list, he crosses that forbidden line. Soon it becomes more than just sex as Liam picks up every jagged little shard of Vivian's shattered heart and pieces it back together, replacing it with a piece of his own.
** This is book 1 in a two-part series

Alright, alright! Vivian's List was not too bad, not too bad at all. I have to admit, I did have a slight issue with Vivian in the beginning of the book. Trying to make excuses and stick up for someone she knows is treating her badly. No hunny, just,  no. I understand though, she is only 21, and everyone is not in their best mind set when they think they're in love. Liam is hot, such a gentleman. I have to tell you, with as much love as I see for the abusive and manipulative males in books lately, this is a breath of fresh air, personal opinion.

Vivian has had a crush on Liam for years, unfortunately, he is her big brothers bestest bud, and has been since they were kids. When she breaks up with a not so fantastic boyfriend, guess who is there to make her feel beautiful and wanted again? Right you are! Liam, again, such an awesome guy. But, alas, they only have about a week and a half together. Liam is in the military and is on leave and scheduled to head back to Iraq soon.

There was one other thing I didn't care for, some word usage. I am not a fan of the p word....you know the one. I can tolerate it when it is used sparingly, unfortunately, it was used quite often. Not a deal breaker though, because it didn't put me off of the story. The character's had great chemistry, and I  enjoyed it. I mean, who doesn't want a hot military man doing everything they can to please you?

All in all, I enjoyed the book. I'm quite excited to hear all about Liam's List.
