"Sinfully sexy, but utterly unique. My favorite New Adult book of the year!" --CORA CARMACK, New York Times bestselling author of LOSING IT

“More than a ridiculously sexy, HOT read, Desrochers takes you on a wild ride of self-discovery and bittersweet romance.” — JENNIFER L. ARMENTROUT, #1 New York Times bestselling author of WAIT FOR YOU

“This is forbidden love and longing done absolutely right! Complicated and sexy doesn't even begin to cover Lexie's journey.” --JAY CROWNOVER, New York Times bestselling author of RULE

Have you ever gone just a little too far?

Lexie Banks has.

Yep. She just had mind-blowing sex with her stepbrother. In her defense, she was on the rebound, and it’s more of a my-dad-happened-to-marry-a-woman-with-a-super-hot-son situation. But still, he’s been her best friend and confidant for the better part of the last few years … and is so off limits. It’s a good thing she’s leaving in two days for a year abroad in Rome.

But even thousands of miles away, Lexie can’t seem to escape trouble. Raised Catholic, she goes to confession in hopes of alleviating some of her guilt … and maybe not burning in hell. Instead, she stumbles out of the confessional and right into Alessandro Moretti, a young and very easy-on-the-eyes deacon … only eight months away from becoming a priest. Lexie and Alessandro grow closer, and when Alessandro’s signals start changing despite his vow of celibacy, she doesn’t know what to think.

She’s torn between falling in love with the man she shouldn’t want and the man she can’t have. And she isn’t sure how she can live with herself either way.

This is a must read! No surprise there, though. Lisa Desrochers creates very realistic worlds filled with characters that you instantly connect with. I honestly have no complaint about this book. I thought I would because there is a slight love triangle, but it was done so well that I have no complaints at all. Not one.

Desrochers gives you the chance to get to know each character a little at a time. She doesn’t overdo it with background information and descriptions, but she gives just enough to help you imagine Lexie’s world and the people in it. I love to picture certain events and characters in my head my own way; makes the story seem more real to me, and Desrochers gave me that chance with A Little Too Far.

The entire time I was reading it I was so torn with Lexie. I loved not knowing which way the story was heading and feeling the way Lexie did. It was like her emotions came off the pages with every word. My heart was broken, then giddy, then broken, then beating super-fast -- my emotions were all over the place right along with Lexie. I was really hoping for a certain ending, and Desrochers did not disappoint. I loved how involved I got in her characters’ lives.

I can’t forget to mention how steamy A Little Too Far is. I had a smile from ear to ear and my cheeks were lobster red. I literally got goose bumps by Lexie’s descriptions of her emotions. Loved it!

Lisa Desrochers is one of my favorite authors who I keep on auto-buy. Anything she releases I buy. I love her writing, and the emotions she brings out of me while reading one her books. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I hate that I have to wait so long.
