No one would suspect shy Lily Calloway’s biggest secret. While everyone is dancing at college bars, Lily stays in the bathroom. To get laid. Her compulsion leads her to one-night stands, steamy hookups and events she shamefully regrets. The only person who knows her secret happens to have one of his own.

Loren Hale’s best friend is his bottle of bourbon. Lily comes at a close second. For three years, they’ve pretended to be in a real relationship, hiding their addictions from their families. They’ve mastered the art of concealing flasks and random guys that filter in and out of their apartment.

But when they go on a family boat trip, surrounded by open seas and limited male bodies in sight, Lily’s confronted with a big fear. Only one guy onboard can fill her addiction, and she’s sworn off going there with Loren Hale ever again.

Now the only person who can truly help her can barely help himself.

**This is a New Adult book recommended for readers 18 and up**

Are you looking for an emotional read but at the same time sexy as hell and so realistic that you just DO NOT want to pull out of the story? Then definitely pick up ADDICTED TO YOU by Krista and Becca Ritchie.

This story was just so tragic, and yet so beautiful. The emotions each character goes through felt so real, and the entire time I was reading it I was completely absorbed in the story and at the edge of my seat dying to bite all my nails off.

Lily and Loren are so perfect for each other, but so wrong at the same time. Watching them fall apart together was so tough. You can tell from the very beginning of the story that they were so in love with each other and that pretending to be a couple wasn’t going to last. When they eventually get together the obstacles they go through are ten times more than before. I know that being a sex addict sounds like a joke, but it’s real. Team Ritchie did a fantastic job breaking her down and showing the world what it’s like. It made me wonder if either of them experienced this first hand, or knew someone who went through it. I don’t know the history behind ADDICTED TO YOU, but this story felt so real. I think it’s because it can happen to anyone.

Loren’s issue is drinking. He seriously cannot function without any type of alcohol in his system. In his head it makes him better and he can breathe easy knowing he has a bottle nearby. Put these two in one room and you’ve got a disaster. I was rooting for the both of them and wanted them to get help so bad. The ending broke me a part. There is one specific line that stuck out to me the most and I think it’s because that is exactly what I felt while reading the book. Now I normally don’t share quotes from a book in my review, but this definitely needs to be shared just so you can get a feel for it. No spoilers, no worries.

… When I look up, I see Ryke and Rose exchanging hesitation.

I understand now. They’re afraid of our closeness. We’re not good together.

Not yet Anyway.

Just rereading that scene breaks my heart all over again.

This book touches two serious subjects filled with very realistic characters, sexy moments, and an ending that will break your heart, but leave you feeling relieved. I loved this story and I really hope there will be a continuation to Loren and Lily’s story. Krista & Becca Ritchie is a master writing pair. I HIGHLY recommend this book! It is a NEW ADULT title and recommended for ages 18 and over!
