In this sequel to OF POSEIDON, Emma has just learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm below. Syrena law states that all Half- Breeds should be put to death.

As if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance among the Syrena turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Which leaves Emma with a decision to make: Should she comply with Galen’s request to keep herself safe and just hope for the best? Or should she risk it all and reveal herself—and her Gift—to save a people she’s never known?

What an amazing sequel! Action from beginning to end! I had no idea what to expect with the way things left off in Of Poseidon, but this was just... wow. I found it to be better than the first. It just so unpredictable and you don't know which way the story is going to go.

Emma definitely matures a lot in Of Triton, and her relationship with Galen becomes a lot stronger than the first. I fell in love with Galen all over again in this book. Emma and Galen's romance felt so real. They were both written so well. The characters, not just Emma and Galen, in general play a big role in my love for this series. I feel like I know them personally (at least I wish I did). :)

There is so much going on in this book that it sort of felt like a new story, but yet continued the last. I loved every minute of it. Anna Banks knew exactly when to climax the story and twist things around. Good twist!  There are some shocking moments that had me at the edge of my seat. It was insanely good and fast paced.

This is a MUST READ series! It has a pinch of everything in it and blends together perfectly. I cannot wait to see what Anna Banks writes next. This was a great sequel!
