FACELESS tells the story of Brandt, who happens to be Dez’s cousin in book one and two.

It was really nice finally getting to know Brandt story. Normally I don’t read novella’s in a series, not sure why, but I just don’t. I tend to skip over them, but I am happy I read this one. It was less than 150 pages so it was easy to zoom through it, and it was definitely filled with plenty of action. It’s very entertaining and I am now in love with Brandt. I liked him in the other books, but you don’t really get much of him to really care honestly.

The chemistry between him and Devin was believable and I couldn’t help but root for her and Brandt right from the start. I liked Devin a lot, and the little Jus Accardo gives readers in FACELESS of her, was enough for me to wish that she makes an appearance in TREMBLE.

There really isn’t much else I can say besides that I was fully tangled in the story from beginning to end and finished it feeling like I read a complete book. I do feel that if you’re a fan of this series you should read FACELESS. However, I do not recommend reading it before TOXIC, book two in Jus Accardo’s DENAZEN series. It’s a bit of a spoiler if you haven’t read TOXIC.

FACELESS was a nice fill in while waiting for book three, TREMBLE, to come out.
