Unraveling was one of my favorites of 2012, and Unbreakable is now on my list of favorites for 2013. It was just as a good. I felt like I was reading a brand new story featuring the same characters. It was refreshing, but yet the same. You definitely have to read the first in the series though, to understand how and why Janelle and Ben got to where they are.

It’s such a big book, but yet I was able to fly through it. It felt like a 200 page book when I was done. Each chapter the story progresses and you learn a little more about their world, and the people in it. You are also introduced to some new characters. Characters that I disliked, or didn’t really care for in the first book, are now some of my favorites in this series. I loved trying to guess who the enemy is really, and who was really there to help.

Unbreakable wasn’t as intense as the first book, but it definitely has its moments. It was also more on the emotional side, but not overly done. Everyone is learning to cope and deal with what’s left of their world. On top of that, people are going missing and they have no idea why. Janelle cannot afford to lose anyone else that she cares about. Throwing herself into the craziness of Agent Taylor Barclay and Ben’s world, the story just burst with suspense and action. I loved it and wish I had book three in my hands right now.
