WOW - The Dark Heroine: Dinner With a Vampire by Abigail Gibbs!

On Sale: 3/5/2013 in USA
Violet Lee is the sole living witness to a horrific pre-dawn mass murder in Trafalgar Square, London. But before she can alert the authorities, she is taken by the murderers, who, to her shock, are vampires. Kidnapped, Violet is forced to live among them, for they’ve discovered she is the daughter of the UK’s Secretary of State for Defense…who has been secretly making deals with the vampires for years.

Now a pawn in a game of politics between humans and vampires, Violet begins to doubt her allegiance, especially when she begins to fall for Prince Kaspar, the heir to the throne of the vampire world, as well as his best friend, Fabian. Swept into a complex love triangle, will Violet find a place in this newfound life, or return to the human world?

I really thought I was over vampire stories, but for some reason I really want this one. Plus, I am curious to see how good the story is since the author is seventeen years old. My friend who lives in the U.K. has already read it and everyday she is telling me how good it is. I cannot wait to get my hands on this one. Hate that we have such a long wait.

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?

  2. That does sound interesting. I'll admit that the 'lust' part of the cover did turn me off a bit but hearing that age of the author, actually makes me want to read it a bit more. It seems to be available on Kindle so I may need to get it soon!

  7. I hadn't heard of this book. I do like murders, vampires and small doses of politics. I am a little leary of the love triangle but it is still being added to my tbr list.
