16 year old Anna Rogan has a secret she's only shared with her best friend, Rei; she can astrally project out of her body, allowing her spirit to explore the world and the far reaches of the universe.

When there's a fatal accident and her classmate Taylor takes over Anna's body, what was an exhilarating distraction from her repressive home life threatens to become a permanent state. Faced with a future trapped in another dimension, Anna turns to Rei for help. Now the two of them must find a way to get Anna back into her body and stop Taylor from accusing an innocent friend of murder. Together Anna and Rei form a plan but it doesn't take into account the deeper feelings that are beginning to grow between them.

          My Review:

When I first came across this book, I knew I had to read it. The blurb was so interesting I just had to get my hands on this book. And I'm so glad I did. Recently I've been in a reading slump. Picking up one book after another and putting it back down. But Auracle was different. I knew the minute I started reading that I wasn't going to put it down until I finish it. I absolutely loved this book.

Anna is a sweet character, she's down to earth and very bubbly with a sense of humor. She's lucky enough to have two best friends that are like family to her. So when a dilemma came into play with one of her besties she didn't give it a second thought to make sure she was there. Then you have Rei who is one of her best friends. He's described as a teddy bear type (in my opinion) who would kick someones butt for messing with his friends. And last you have Seth, he's a bit more refrained but a sweetheart as well. I love each character in this novel.

I love the way Rosati wrote her story. It was never boring and never a dull moment. She was very descriptive in all events especially when she described the feeling Anna would get when it was time to astral project. She wrote the feeling Anna gets so detailed that I'm definitely keeping an eye out for these symptoms. LOL. Aside from Anna my other favorite character is Rei. He should loyalty and dedication to Anna. Even though he has warned her about her astral projecting, he stood by her side when the worst happened. That's what real friendship is about. Anna and Rei's together made this book so much more intriguing.

I hope I have persuaded you readers enough to want to pick up this book. And if I haven't please tell what I can do to make that happen. This book was an amazing debut book. This book is so good, it's almost a 5 stars on Goodreads. I read somewhere that this is a stand alone which makes me sad because I fell in love with Rosati's characters and would love to continue reading a bit more about them. This book is a definite 5 golden stars! And an definite Good Choice for Reading!

  7. The blurb sounds interesting, and gives me a little Ghost & the Goth feel, but only a little. And I loved that series, so that's a good thing. Thanks for the recommendation. Oh, and I love the cover.
