Violet McKenna is back for her senior year at Winterhaven and thrilled to be with Aidan after a long summer apart. But while their love for each other is as strong as ever, their troubles are far from over.

News of a rogue vampire on a killing spree sets everyone on edge. While Aidan is determined to stop the killer, Violet is chilled by a horrifying vision she simply must prevent...for if she can’t, two people she loves will meet a violent end.

In the midst of Violet’s fear, a mysterious newcomer enters her life—and he has some vital information not just about her past, but about her future as well. Now everything Violet held as truth is upended, and she is left not knowing whom to trust, if she is in danger, and—worst of all—whether she and Aidan are really meant to be together.

          My Review:

Mirage is the perfect sequel to Haven. Mirage leaves you in suspense and wondering what's going to happen next. Kristi Cook introduces you to new characters and they blended it right in with the rest of the Winter Haven Crew. I really enjoyed these new characters. They create new chemistry with Violet and her friends, which I really liked.

It's senior year at Winter Haven and the crew is just coming back from summer break. But senior year won't go as easy as planned. A chain of unfortunate events occur, which shakes up the very core of Aidan and Violet. While Aidan continues to work in the science lab, Violet's visions are coming on strong. Our Winter Haven Warriors are on full effect!

Kristi went out her way to make sure that Mirage and its characters entertain you.  I caught myself laughing a few times and also trying to play detective as well. Mirage is an easy and fast paced read. I am looking forward more now to the last book in this trilogy. Mirage is a definite Good Choice for Reading!!

    1. I know my niece said she's going to read Haven again before she reads Mirage. LOL. I remember it pretty good. So I was able to connect things.

  3. Very nice review. I will have to check out Haven before I read this one but both books sound amazing. Thank you for sharing your review and helping me learn more about this series.

  4. I love a book that can make you laugh and as an old Nancy Drew reader, mystery is a big plus. Since this is a trilogy, I'll have to wait on book three and then have a marathon reading session!

    1. Wow! You can wait that long. The only way for me to wait that long to read a book is if all three books are out. Then I'll do the reading marathon. But if I'm into the series before all are published, I will torture myself waiting for the next.
