When Dr. Alyssa Foster is taken hostage by a prison inmate, she knows she's in deep trouble. Not just because Teague Creek is desperate for freedom, but because the moment his fingers brush against her skin, Alyssa feels a razor-sharp pang of need...

A man with a life sentence has nothing to lose. At least Teague doesn't, until his escape plan develops a fatal flaw: Alyssa. On the run from both the law and deadly undercover operatives, he can only give her lies, but every heated kiss tells him the fire between them could be just as devastating as the flames that changed him forever...

This book hooked me from the first chapter. I just wanted more and more. Talk about the ultimate bad boy Teague is truly in a league of his own! Right from the beginning I didn’t know how to take Teague, was he a dangerous criminal willing to do anything for freedom, or was there a good man deep down inside of him?

Teague who is a strong man with a plan and focus to stick to it, is blown away when he meets Alyssa. Alyssa who has spent her entire life working for a career she is wants more than anything has her world turned upside down when she meets Teague. A circumstance of the wrong place wrong time, puts Alyssa in a very dangerous situation with Teague as the mastermind. Alyssa quickly realizes this man who ruined her life is also the only one who can now save it.

With both now on the run they must work together to learn why the government wants him dead. And what really happened all those years ago. As the story develops you get to know Teague more and can’t help but want him to get away and escape the law. I wanted to fix everything that went wrong in Teague’s life and make it all go away. I wanted so badly for him to give in to the advances that Alyssa throws his way. Can they make it out of this alive and will they still want each other?

5 out of 5 stars!
