How does a girl choose between the one who steals her heart and the one who owns her soul?

Matt and Emily were created for a specific job. Raised and trained as the ultimate angel/warrior team, they are sent down to save, defend, judge and forgive, depending on the 'life' they've been assigned. What they don't realize is that the power of human emotions, such as love, anger, passion and fear can take over even the best of souls, causing them to make mistakes and follow paths that lead to confusion and heartache.

When the reason for their training is finally revealed, the angel/warrior team find themselves thrust into a world they know nothing about. Matt takes over the life of Daniel, a young man with a great deal of baggage. Emily becomes Liz, a girl living in a remote village who relies on nothing more than her own strength to survive. A violent storm erupts one night, and framed in the window of Liz's establishment is a frightening face. Let in by the soul of a Good Samaritan, the two visitors bring with them a past full of secrets that could literally change an angel's path and a warrior's plans.

From murder to redemption, this angel/warrior team must find a way to keep the faith they have in each other in a world that's ripping them apart.

This book was like reading 2 stories in one. You have the angel story of Emily and Matt, who are sent into human shells to experience life as a human with no knowledge of their angel selves, and that of Liz and Daniel the human shells they fill.

Most of the book is about Liz and her feelings and struggles of life. I just loved Liz, she is so sweet and so caring, but is not willing to open her heart to anyone. She is just content in keeping the peace and helping the people of her small town. Her world gets turned upside down one night during a storm when two handsome strangers need refuge from the rain. Liz unable to turn away anyone in need, let’s them in and is soon whisked off on an adventure with these two men and her best friend Faith.

Jason, one of the strangers that showed up on her door falls hopelessly in love with Liz. Determined to make her love him back, he takes her to his home and shows her the horrid past he was running from when they met. The action and mysteries just open up from there and I could not stop reading it. I loved the way Jason was with Liz and how much he wanted her just to love him back.

This book had a great love story and battle for love over two souls in two different places both Heaven and Earth. I was so into the story I just could not wait for what happened next. I definably liked Liz and Jason’s story much better than Matt and Emily. I think it because there was just not enough explained in the angel part of the story and I hope there is a book 2 to add more to the story.

With Both amazing main characters and funny strong sub characters this is a much need to read book! Be ready to laugh and cry by the time you finish this book.

4.5 stars!
