Cool Ways to Display Your Books!
Check out this cool coffee table designed by Lisa Finster. They're custom created specifically for your favorite books.

By cutting specific spaces for each book, you can give a whole new meaning to the word: coffee table book.

I love it!!

And here is another adorable way of showing off your books - available on Etsy

It's a custom made book rack. Using detachable pins, you can hang your books on the wall - just like your coat rack. And the pins can also serve as bookmarks.

  2. The Hunger Games and Hobbit SQUEE!! Honestly, haven't they made enough adaptations of The Great Gatsby and Great Expectations? (Also, Les Mis?)

  3. Thanks for the list!! There are a couple on there that I had heard about already, and am very excited for - like the Hunger Games!! :)

I actually do a books-to-movies series on my blog. I post reviews of the movie after having read the book and seen the movie. I'll try to watch some (or most) of these, and let you know what I think! :)

  4. The only ones of those I really care to see are The Hobbit and The Hunger Games. Some of those I haven't even heard of the books, or I don't care to read.

Given past experiences, the BBC's Great Expectations that PBS will be airing this spring will be a better retelling. I'd watch it to see Gillian Anderson as Havisham, even though I really do hate Great Expectations in all forms.

That second display looks so painful for the books

  5. Those are awesome book displays. People are so creative. I have custom book shelves thanks to DH, but they are already overflowing?

My sister in law shared an idea of having her computer desk built with low book cases as the legs on either side. I thought that was a great idea too.
