Teaser Tuesday!

Teaser Tuesday" is a weekly meme hosted

by: Mizb of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can do it, here's how:

1. Grab your current read

2. Open to a random page

3. Share two (2) "teaser" sentences/paragraphs from somewhere on that page.

4. Share the title and the author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR lists if they like your teasers.

Be careful not to include SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away, you don't want to ruin the book for others.)

Our Teaser's this week:

A Creed in Stone Creek by Linda Lael Miller
Pg. 188
(Note: This is an ARC copy. A finished copy was released on February 22nd and can be different.)

"I'm afraid I have other plans," she said. "But feel free to call a meeting anyway. Naturally, I'll go along with whatever the of you decide, as long as there's a consensus."

"Does this have something to do with that Creed fellow?" Adelaide asked bluntly. There was a twinkle in her eyes. "First supper, then lunch. My, my. It would seem you're over Dan Guthrie at last, and none too soon, either."

Timeless by Alexandra Monir
Pg. 136

"A locket!" Alanna cried with delight. "It is so beautiful. George, you needn't have."

'I wanted to," George said, pulling her in for another kiss. "I only wish..."

"Yes, darling?" Alanna asked. "What is it you wish?"

George was silent for a moment, and when he spoke, his voice was horase. "I wish you could put our picture in the locket without fear of being found out."

  2. "" I think you're going to have to start over." "I know !" Molly fought the urge to put her head in her hand and sob.

Obviously she couldn't use a measureing cup and think about Jack at the same time, and she had a mass of unappetizing goo in front of her to prove it. ... "You wanted to though, didnt you ? " Wanted to what ?"
