Review: Invincible Summer by Hannah Moskowitz

Noah’s happier than I’ve seen him in months. So I’d be an awful brother to get in the way of that. It’s not like I have some relationship with Melinda. It was just a kiss. Am I going to ruin Noah’s happiness because of a kiss?

Across four sun-kis
sed, drama-drenched summers at his family’s beach house, Chase is falling in love, falling in lust, and trying to keep his life from falling apart. But some girls are addictive....

Not your typical beach read.

Chase has always looked up to his older brother Noah. The two of them have been close since they were young. Every summer his family goes to the beach, and every summer they spend a lot of time with the Hathaway family, who stay in the house next door. The Hathaway's have two daughters, Melinda is Noah's age and Bella is Chase's age.

He's never really felt an attraction to Melinda before, and besides Chase knows that she is more or less Noah's girl. But one unexpected, unplanned kiss can change everything. And as much as Chase doesn't want to hurt his brother, some things happen that we have no control over. After all, the heart wants what it wants...

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast read and because it took place on the beach, I couldn't help but wish I was there. Seems like I'm always reading books told
from the female character's perspective, so it was refreshing to get the male's point of view. Hannah Moskowitz is a young, fresh faced new author, and I'm excited to see what she comes out with next!
