Book Expo of America!

Last night had to be one of the most stressful days of my life LOL. Registration is finally up for Book Expo of America and we spent like two hours trying to figure out exactly how we register for this event. It is definitely something we do not want to miss.

Anyway, after spending so much time trying to figure it out, we finally did. I want to share with everyone how BOOK BLOGGERS register for Book Expo. I had so much help and I think it's only fair we do the same thing.

1. You would visit this link to register: www.bookexpoamerica.com/pressreg That will bring you to a screen where you have to enter all your information.

2. Once everything is filled out, you would click Continue and click on Journalist > Blogger > then continue from there.

3. Now here is where EVERYONE got confused...I was told by NUMEROUS of people that we do not pay because we attend as Press, but the next screen was bringing us to another little box to check that says Blogger and then $120 Dollars. We do not need to check this box. That $120 is for a concurrent event, which is Book Bloggers Convention that is taking place at the same time. DO NOT click the box if you do not want tickets to this event and HIT CONTINUE. If you are purchasing tickets for this, then go right ahead and click the box! LOL

And that's pretty much it! We are now just waiting to see if we get approved to attend the event. We have our badge numbers etc., but that does not mean we're guaranteed inside. So, now we're stressing over that LOL!

If you have any questions at all leave a comment and we would be more than happy to TRY and help. We're still a little confused, but at least we figured that part out right? LOL

Lots and lots of GRACIAS to everyone who helped us out last night! :-) Chao!

  1. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I was staring at the screen last night very confused and decided to do it later, haha.

  2. Sorry, forgot to ask. I know you provided a direct link, but on the updated registration page, under press/media there's "editorial" and "noneditorial". Bloggers are noneditorial, right?

  3. Don't click on the noneditorial registration. It means it wants to charge you for your pass because you are under general admission somehow. Trust me I spent 2 hours this morning on the phone with them about it. Just do the press registration under editorial then the pass is free.

  4. And if you are bringing a member of the family, what do you do for that? Do they need to register separately?

  5. I don't know if you're bringing a family member how to do that. And under title I put Blogger/Reviewer.
